FREEZE PANICS ATLANTIC COAST

As a freeze panics the Atlantic Coast, Admiral Nelson has formed a theory concerning the possible drift of the Gulf Stream and is concerned with the cause. Washington has been notified of his theories, but the government has remained skeptical of his "wild" ideas.

Admiral Nelson believes that some event has caused the Gulf Stream to move more to the south and east, thus allowing the cold artic air to invade the east coast.

Nelson has thus contacted Dr. Charles Melton, one of the world's leading climatologists. He is in Florida now to confer with Dr. Melton about his Gulf Stream project in hopes that he can sell his project to Washington.

Note the images below. The image on the left shows the gulf stream as it is normally. The wavy sliver of green running near the coast is the Gulf Stream. The image on the right shows the Gulf Stream as it is today. As can be seen it is too far south and thus is allowing the cold arctic air to come into the Atlantic coast.
