
Listed below are the contents of a proposal, as well as additional materials that you may include. Please use the list as an inventory checklist if you find this helpful in preparing your full proposal. Forms can be dowloaded from the links at the bottom of this page.
If you would like to be notified that your proposal was received by the NIMR Research office, please send an email to project@nimr.org and the proposal Coordinator will notify you.
A complete proposal must be submitted. If any item is omitted, or if page limitations are exceeded, the application may be deferred for consideration until the next proposal cycle.

General Format
Listed below are the instructions for preparing a NIMR proposal. To facilitate completion of the omnibus proposal, we require that your proposal be prepared according to the following specifications:
Type/Font
12 point Times. Do not photo reduce print.
Margins
Side, top and bottom margins should be approximately 1.25 inches each. Typed lines should be left justified.
Line Spacing
The narrative of the proposal should by typed single-spaced. Please do not use 1-1/2 line spacing.
Format Style
Please follow the examples given in this instruction packet, particularly for references. Please use a 5-space indentation for paragraphs. Page numbers are optional. With the exception of the Project Title which is centered, headings in the narrative section should be left justified, bold, and upper case.
Graphics
HARDCOPY: Any tables, figures, and illustrations must be submitted in final form either on separate pages at the end of the text OR embedded within the narrative.
ELECTRONIC COPY: Be sure to include graphics with your electronic submission as SEPARATE files (Hi resolution .TIF documents).

Electronic Transfer
There are two choices for providing an electronic copy of your proposal: A compact disk or email attachment.
Compact Disk (CD)
Please send a hybrid CD that includes a copy of your proposal. The CD should include:
